Upcoming actor Sija Rose wanted to follow her father’s footsteps and pursue journalism, but fate had something else in store for the young girl.
After her stint in a Kannada movie Magadi, she’s currently trying her luck out in Mollywood.
Sija, currently also pursuing her MA Literature, says, “I completed my graduation from Mumbai and then came down to Kerala to enjoy my vacations. During that period I did a few TV commercials and later got a movie offer.”
She will play the lead in debut director N.K. Gireesh’s Ninneyum Kollum Njaanum Chaavum, in which the actor dons the role of a hotel receptionist opposite Second Show fame Sunny Wayne.
“A simple girl who values Indian culture and traditions, that's my role in Neeko Njaacha,” said the star.
Sija has played a cameo role in the soon-to-be released film Usthad Hostel and also in Bhadrasanam, a sequel of Ananthabadhram. The actor will be seen in Rajesh Amanakara’s Entry opposite Bhagath Manuel.
The actor keen on doing some good movies says, “As I have entered the field of glitz and glamour, I want to give my best, so let’s see what’s in store for me.”
